These are seven long-winded and evolving variations of a song I made for my friend and mentor Chris James Thompson for his incredible film, "We Are Not Ghouls."

It documents Yvonne Bradley, a public defender and Lt. Colonel in the USAF, who volunteered to defend Binyam Mohamed, detained at Guantanamo Bay. Believing the detention camp held "the worst of the worst", she was soon forced to examine what justice means in the post-9/11 United States.

The songs revolve around themes I found in the film -- the human voice, the process of recording, and finding light in the darkness. I bounced different parts to tape, sometimes multiple times.

Track 7 features my amazing pal and frequent collaborator Treccy MT, and it's the song that plays during the credits of "Ghouls."
